Discover personalized support for your child's growth
Helping your child thrive and grow
We provide in-home pediatric occupational therapy for infants and children experiencing feeding challenges and developmental differences.
At Rooted Together Pediatric OT, we partner with parents to support working on oral feeding challenges, daily routines, play, and independence. Our approach is holistic, gentle, and family-centred—because meaningful progress happens when children, caregivers, and therapists work together.
For Parents of NICU Graduates and Medically Complex Infants
Supporting Your Transition from Hospital to Home
Bringing a baby home from the NICU is one of the most overwhelming transitions a family can face. The monitors are gone, the nurses aren't down the hall, and you're left holding a tiny person with a complex history and a lot of unknowns.
Carolyn has extensive experience supporting families through exactly this transition — from NICU to home, from tube feeding to oral feeding, from survival mode to something that starts to feel like a rhythm. If this is where you are, you are not starting from scratch. You already know your baby better than anyone. We build from that.
You Are Part of the Therapy
At Rooted Together, we don't work on your child while you wait in another room. You are present, involved, and learning alongside your child at every session. Our goal is to make ourselves less necessary over time — by giving you the tools, knowledge, and confidence to support your child's growth every day, not just during scheduled appointments.
Progress happens in the in-between moments. The morning routine. The mealtime. The transition to bed. That's where real development lives, and that's where we focus our coaching.
